OUR PROCEDURES
Aesthetic And Reconstructive Surgery

It is the medical specialty that aims to correct and improve abnormalities of congenital, acquired, tumor or involutional origin that require repair or replacement of the body form and function.

BREAST AUGMENTATION
This is one of the most requested procedures by women around the world. This surgical procedure aims to increase breast size, achieving a harmonious fit with the patient's figure, resulting in increased confidence and self-esteem.
WHAT IS BREAST AUGMENTATION?
It is a surgical procedure to improve the size and shape of a woman's breasts. The increase in volume by one or more sizes is achieved by inserting a prosthesis beneath the breast. The implants we use are specially designed for this purpose, and manufacturers have been developing them for over 40 years. Currently, breast implants offer a wide margin of safety.
WHO ARE CANDIDATES FOR BREAST AUGMENTATION?
Patients who wish to enhance their silhouette when their breasts are small. Patients who wish to correct hypoplasia or reduction in breast size after pregnancy. Women who also wish to correct a difference in size between the two breasts. Or even as a reconstructive procedure after breast surgery. Recovery time?
You only need one day of hospitalization and a two-week period of relative rest without lifting heavy objects or performing strenuous physical activity.
REDUCTION MAMMOPLASTY
There are various reasons why breast hypertrophy (very large breasts) can develop throughout life. These range from being born with a genetic predisposition to significant weight gain. Regardless of the cause, it can significantly affect a woman's quality of life. Limited physical activity, poor posture that causes back pain, difficulty finding underwear or clothes, and complexes that damage self-esteem are just some of the situations that patients with this problem experience daily. Furthermore, let's remember again that the beauty of the breasts does not depend so much on their size; when it is excessive, it can alter their shape and increase their sagging. Reduction mammoplasty (breast reduction surgery) is a procedure that, in addition to reducing volume, corrects the shape and position of the breasts. This restores their attractive features and improves the patient's self-esteem and quality of life.
GLUTEOPLASTY / BBL
We know that the buttocks represent an aesthetically sensitive area, an important element in a sensual and attractive figure. Regardless of the cause (genetics, weight changes, age, etc.), a lack of volume and projection can significantly affect them. Currently, there are two safe methods for buttock augmentation. One involves obtaining fat through liposuction from areas with a certain degree of excess fat. This autologous fat (the patient's own fat) is mixed with platelet-rich plasma obtained from the patient's blood and injected into the gluteal area with specially designed cannulas. In this way, the benefits of both liposculpture and buttock augmentation are achieved, which significantly improves the body contour. In cases where there is little available fat (e.g., very thin people), or where very large volumes would be required to achieve significant changes, gluteal implants are the other alternative. This is a surgery that, with proper technique, can provide excellent results.
It's common for breasts to change in volume and shape over the years, due to pregnancy and weight changes, among other factors. This tends to affect their appearance and can have a significant impact on a woman's self-esteem. There are various options that can disguise these changes (tops and bras), but the only alternative that provides noticeable, long-term results is surgery. The type of surgery and incisions performed depend on the degree of sagging (ptosis) the patient presents. There are also some cases in which a combination of procedures is necessary to achieve a satisfactory result. For example, if there is significant loss of volume in addition to sagging, a lift with implant placement may be required.
Vaginal Rejuvenation
These are various modern procedures, all aimed at enhancing feminine intimate beauty. We cover techniques such as vaginoplasty, labiaplasty of the labia minora and majora, perineoplasty, and hymenoplasty. Through a surgical procedure, we make it possible for you to feel better about your intimacy.
WHO ARE CANDIDATES FOR GENITAL REJUVENATION?
Patients with enlarged labia majora or minora that prevents them from wearing tight clothing, riding a bicycle, or engaging in certain sexual practices. In these cases, labiaplasty reduces the labia to their normal size. Also, people who have had multiple births and whose vagina or perineum is excessively loose can restore their youthful tone and characteristics through vaginoplasty or perineoplasty.
RECOVERY TIME?
Depending on the type of procedure performed, in the case of a labiaplasty, you can return to sexual activity after two weeks; in the case of a vaginoplasty or perineoplasty, you should wait up to four weeks.
Areola Surgery and Breast Reconstruction
Currently, breast reconstruction is considered a fundamental part of comprehensive breast cancer treatment. There are cases in which it can be performed immediately (at the same time the cancer is removed, in conjunction with the oncologic surgeon), and others in which it is preferable to do it later (in a second surgical procedure). Some reconstruction techniques use prostheses (expanders and implants). In others, the patient's own tissue (flaps) is used, or there are combined procedures. Regardless, the truth is that every woman has the opportunity and the right to recover her body image and thus improve her quality of life.
Most liposuction after-effects are due to a failure to adhere to one of the technique's basic principles. Regardless of the technology used (ultrasound, laser, Vaser, vibro-liposuction, traditional) or the technique (tumescent, dry, or wet), both the skin and the adjacent subcutaneous tissue must be respected. This means that the depth at which the cannula is inserted is crucial during the procedure. The human body has two types of fat. Superficial or areolar fat, which is adjacent to the skin and gives it its tone, trophicity, color, and radiance, cannot be liposuctioned because it would cause fibrosis, adhesions, or unsightly depressions, in addition to damaging the circulation, which would be reflected in a purplish color on the skin, giving it a marbled appearance. The other fat is the Deep or Lamellar fat, which we have to reach in order to extract it without causing the complications described above. Other complications that occur in people who have undergone superficial liposuction are that they would stop gaining or losing weight in a harmonious way, since by extracting the last layer of superficial fat cells, the phenomenon of Lipogenesis would stop occurring, which consists of Hypertrophy or Hyperplasia of the deep fat cells that allow us to gain weight in an even manner. That is why we often hear patients say "I had liposuction on my body but now my legs are getting fat," or the opposite. Correcting after-effects from liposuction is one of the most difficult challenges in our profession, and not all cases of after-effects will be possible to correct as one would like. The problems arise from superficial liposuction, therefore the correction consists of also injecting lipoinjections superficially. Furthermore, when one lacks adequate knowledge of the body's existing fat layers and the suction is performed superficially, the procedure becomes painful, which would not be the case if the suction were performed deeply. The superficial layer of fat is separated from the deep layer of fat by a fascia called the superficial fascia, which we must cross to reach the correct site. Once we reach the site, we may notice that the fat has a different consistency and is therefore extremely gentle to extract. That's the secret.
Abdominoplasty is a surgery indicated for patients who, for one reason or another, have excess skin and fatty tissue in their abdominal wall, which cannot be resolved with liposuction alone. It is a procedure that also corrects excessive separation of the rectus abdominis muscles (diastasis recti), a common finding after pregnancy, for example. This restores the tone and strength of the abdominal wall, restoring a youthful and attractive silhouette. By removing excess skin and fat (dermolipectomy), it is also possible to completely or partially eliminate scars and stretch marks that may remain after surgery, significant weight loss, or multiple pregnancies. Like liposuction, it is not a weight-loss surgery and is not indicated for obese patients. The best results are obtained in patients committed to a healthy lifestyle.
Liposuction or liposculpture is a surgical procedure that, as its name suggests, is performed to "sculpt" or improve the figure and contour of the human body. The areas treated are primarily those where, despite exercise, a balanced diet, and a healthy weight, fat tends to accumulate and is difficult to eliminate. It is important to emphasize that this is not a weight-loss surgery. For this reason, it is not indicated for patients who are obese or significantly overweight, as the results will not be entirely satisfactory. Other important factors, such as the skin's elasticity and retractability, must be evaluated to determine whether liposuction is the most appropriate procedure or whether another type of surgery is necessary. The best results are achieved with a healthy lifestyle.
Having a more pronounced and defined derriere is very much in vogue. The demand for procedures to enhance the buttocks has increased significantly in plastic surgery. Celebrities such as J.L.O., Beyoncé, and many others, in addition to the trend of more revealing clothing and more form-fitting materials, have sparked a growing interest among women in their buttocks. These days, the buttocks have displaced the breasts as a feminine symbol of sensuality. There are two safe methods for buttock augmentation and contouring. One is the contouring of the fat deposits around the buttocks, creating a more defined appearance. The fat obtained from this area, or from any other area that has been liposuctioned, is injected into the previously defined area of the buttocks to produce an increase in volume, creating a result characterized by buttocks with greater volume, projection, and definition, which are the key to an aesthetically harmonious buttock. This procedure is commonly called the "Brazilian Butt Lift" or BBL. It can be combined with procedures such as abdominoplasty and liposuction. The other method involves the placement of implants or prostheses that have been specially designed to be placed in the buttocks beneath the muscle fascia (the membrane that covers the muscle) or within the muscular plane. This procedure can be combined with liposuction, although it may increase the risk of fluid accumulation around the implant, or "seroma." We do not recommend the injection of "synthetic remodeling substances" or "injectable implants" for buttock augmentation, as they cause significant short- and long-term complications. These complications are practically irreversible and difficult to repair.
The objective of abdominal marking or lipomarking is to achieve a skin-tight fit against the abdominal wall, allowing each muscle structure in the treated area to be visible. This achieves an athletic appearance by highlighting the contours of the rectus abdominis and oblique muscles. This procedure can be performed on both men and women who wish to improve this area and meet the appropriate requirements for this procedure, such as not being obese. What is usually included in the price: Initial assessment Laboratory tests Procedure Follow-ups Advantages The patient will eliminate localized fat in the treated area. The abdominal lines and muscles will be marked. The patient's self-esteem will increase. The abdomen will appear firmer, smoother, more sculpted, and well-defined. Expected results and risks: The results can be seen after 20-30 days. Regarding risks, the following may include bleeding, hematomas, infections, seromas, tingling, poor healing, asymmetry, fibrosis, skin necrosis, thrombosis, thromboembolism, etc. The procedure: The surgeon makes small incisions in the abdominal area, through which he suctions out the fat, focusing on the abdominal lines to enhance them and highlight the muscles. Abdominal contouring can also be performed with ultrasound or laser, and is almost always combined with abdominal liposuction.
CALF IMPLANTS
Calf implant surgery is a surgical procedure aimed at increasing the volume of the calf muscles in the legs, reshaping their shape and improving the body contour of men and women.
WHO ARE CANDIDATES FOR A CALF IMPLANT?
People with thin, long legs with a lack of volume in the medial calf region; and people with leg asymmetries as a result of a medical condition.
RECOVERY TIME?
It requires a day of hospitalization. We begin walking 24 hours after the procedure. There will be some discomfort, which will be relieved with the medication prescribed. For the first week, walkers should alternate between flat shoes and 5 cm heels. The patient can return to their daily activities one week after the procedure.
HIPS INCREASE
Hip augmentation in Colombia and Latin America has become one of the most requested plastic surgery procedures in recent years.
The buttocks of Latinas are larger than those of other ethnicities, but some women are concerned that when they look head-on in the mirror, the lateral area of their buttocks appears flattened or empty, lacking the proper projection to wear clothing that covers little or is made of thin fabrics—perhaps leggings or a delicate dress.
Hip augmentation in Cali, Colombia, is performed under international surgical safety standards and protocols.
The protocols include a thorough preoperative assessment, which first determines whether the patient is a candidate for the procedure and whether she is fit enough; does not smoke; is not obese; does not suffer from any medical condition that would prevent surgery, etc.
Scar correction with plastic surgery is a very useful treatment for those who have suffered some type of trauma or undergone surgery that has left a scar they don't like. Complete removal is not possible, however, current instruments and techniques allow us to hide or reduce scars to a small line of a few millimeters that, if properly cared for, will barely be visible after a while. Our body is very wise and naturally tries to heal any wound as quickly as possible, but without considering aesthetic issues. Today, this is no longer a problem since, through plastic surgery, we can, for example, use fat grafts to raise depressed areas or hide a scar using a skin graft or flap. That is, we extract healthy skin from another area of our body and transfer the scarred skin to that less visible area. It's basically a healthy skin transplant. Another problem that can occur in some people is hypertrophic scars, where the body doesn't realize it has healed and continues the healing process, causing them to increase in size. Or worse, keloid scars, where the scar tissue extends beyond the wound, growing like a tumor. In these cases, additional treatments such as corticosteroids may be necessary to slow the healing process. Since scars can be a stigma or a bad reminder of an illness or accident for some, this is all the more reason to try to remove any mark on the face, head, breasts, or any other visible part of the body. The only effective solution if your scar is more than a year old is plastic surgery. For this, we have various surgical techniques that can dramatically improve its appearance.

OUR PROCEDURES
Plastic And Aesthetic Facial Surgery

BLEPHAROPLASTY
It is the most requested elective surgery worldwide for both sexes. It is a surgical procedure used to extract fat and remove excess skin from the upper and lower eyelids, which gives us a tired expression or can make us look older. In some cases, excess skin on the eyelids can even interfere with your vision. The benefits of eyelid surgery are a more alert and youthful appearance to your eyes. It is important to emphasize that this procedure does not eliminate wrinkles or so-called "crow's feet," nor does it eliminate dark circles under the eyes (dark circles), and it does not lift droopy eyebrows. It can be performed exclusively or at the same time as other facial surgical procedures, such as a brow lift or a facelift. If you are considering eyelid surgery, you will find basic information here. If you have any additional questions, please send us an email and we will help you resolve them.
WHO ARE CANDIDATES FOR BLEPHAROPLASTY?
Ideal candidates for eyelid surgery are physically healthy men and women. This surgery is usually performed after the age of 35, although it is possible to have it earlier if you have droopy eyelids.
TO PLAN YOUR INTERVENTION
The first consultation with your surgeon is very important. Your complete medical history will be required, especially if you have any allergies or are taking any medications. Occasionally, an ophthalmic and tear production examination is necessary. You will need to decide whether you need surgery on both your upper and lower eyelids or just one. During your first visit, I will explain the techniques and anesthesia generally used, as well as the risks and costs involved in the operation.
It is a surgical procedure that aims to improve and reposition the size and shape of the ears. It is a surgery that has a purely aesthetic purpose in people who generally have problems with the size and shape of their ears since birth. Ear surgery has a simple recovery, and most patients who undergo it are satisfied. Otoplasty is a surgery designed for women, men, and children of different ages. What is usually included in the price Initial evaluation Medical examinations Surgery Medical checkups Advantages Significantly improves the appearance of the ears Eliminates complexes Significant increase in the patient's self-esteem The scar is fairly hidden Expected results and risks The results are immediately noticeable, which makes patients feel satisfied. Even so, it is a surgical procedure that is not exempt from complications. Therefore, there may be a risk of bleeding and infection, asymmetry, healing problems, and decreased sensitivity in the skin of the ears. The procedure The surgeon makes an incision behind the ear. This provides access to the cartilage, which will be reshaped by the specialist. In some cases, it is necessary to reshape and modify the cartilage; in others, excess skin will need to be removed. It may even be necessary to emphasize the ear folds through stitches in the upper cartilage. Once the cartilage has been repositioned, the doctor will stitch the scar, which will be hidden behind the ear.
FACIAL LIPOSTRUCTURING
This technique uses our own fat as a natural, living, and biological filler to achieve precise structural changes where it's implanted. It's a safe, undetectable, and permanent technique. Many types of fillers have been used over the last century; none are considered ideal, but now we can use our own fat for face and body.
TECHNIQUE
Technique is key to ensuring the fat's survival. It is taken from the donor area with great delicacy and minimal manipulation and must be applied in tiny portions. Each fat particle is surrounded by the surrounding muscle, skin, bone, or connective tissue. It is applied using a thin layer method to ensure maximum contact with the surrounding tissues. These tissues nourish it by creating new capillaries, thus ensuring its survival. Very small, blunt cannulas are used to extract and inject the fat. By arranging it in different layers, the tissues can be manipulated to change structures, such as when augmenting and everting the lip or creating a more powerful jawline. These blunt cannulas are designed to avoid damaging structures such as nerves or blood vessels; no sharp instrument will be introduced beneath the skin. Above all, it is not perceived as "fat" because these grafts, when integrated, take on the texture of the surrounding tissues.
NECK REJUVENATION
One of the signs of neck aging is the formation of two platysmal cords or vertical folds running from the chin to the clavicle, known as "crow's neck." These vertical bands in the neck are a result of laxity of the platysma, a very thin muscle that runs from the thorax to the jaw. When the degree of laxity of the platysmal bands is mild or moderate, the cervical corset technique can be applied.
WHAT DOES THE CERVICAL CORSET TECHNIQUE CONSIST OF?
Cervical bracing is a minimally invasive procedure and much less traumatic than a conventional facelift. It is performed under local anesthesia and on an outpatient basis, lasting less than 30 minutes. It is performed through a small incision below the chin and another 2 mm incision behind the ears. From the chin incision, retention sutures are passed, engaging the platysma muscle on one side, as well as any sagging facial tissue. These sutures are then brought to the contralateral side of the neck, anchoring it behind the ear. This tightens the muscle and eliminates the vertical bands, defining the angle between the chin and neck. After the procedure, the patient must wear a light compression bandage for the first few hours. The results last for 2 to 3 years, and the technique can be repeated after that time.
The nose is one of the most prominent facial structures, an important element in facial harmony, and often considered the face's "calling card." Therefore, even subtle alterations in one or more of its components can cause significant discomfort. Correcting these aspects may require simpler procedures or more complex surgical interventions, such as rhinoplasty. The latter, in most cases, provides the most satisfactory and permanent results. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia, and uses techniques that modify the shape and position of the nasal cartilages to correct the elements discussed with the patient. In some cases, it is also necessary to fracture the nasal bones to perfect the dorsum.
BICHECTOMY
A bichectomy is a procedure that reduces the volume of the cheeks, removing the pockets of fat called bichat to improve the facial contour and provide a more harmonious appearance. It seeks to properly contour the facial structures, highlighting the cheekbones and framing the face.
WHO IS BICHECTOMY SUITABLE FOR?
Surgery suitable for men and women over 18 years of age, this procedure is for people in excellent health, without any mental or psychological problems, and with realistic expectations for the results.
RISKS
Complications of Bichectomy are rare, but hematomas, infections, ceromas, or excessive inflammation may occur.
BEFORE SURGERY TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
- All your questions should be answered. - You must not take any anticoagulants, such as aspirin, omega-3, omega-6, or omega-9, or vitamin E, 10 days before surgery. This is recommended for patient safety. The aforementioned medications can increase the patient's risk of bleeding. - You must not have any signs of the flu. - We recommend that you arrange for someone to pick you up from the clinic after surgery.
SURGICAL TECHNIQUE
A bichectomy involves partial liposuction of the Bichat sac through two small incisions made inside the mouth. It can be supplemented with double chin liposuction. The procedure takes 45 minutes to an hour.
POSTOPERATIVE CARE
Maintain regular oral hygiene after every meal to prevent residue from causing infections. Avoid eating fried foods for the first 10 days of recovery.
FACIAL LIFTING
A surgical facelift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure that improves and corrects laxity of the skin on the face and neck by tightening the muscles and reshaping the skin above them. The procedure lasts 5 to 10 years, depending on the patient's age. Age, sun exposure, and the stress of everyday life can all be reflected in the face. Deep indentations form between the nose and mouth, the corners of the mouth sag, bags and fat deposits appear around the neck, and so on. A facelift cannot halt this aging process, but it can turn back the clock, improving the most visible signs of aging and putting everything back in its place. If you're considering a facelift, here's some basic information about the procedure, when it can help, how it's performed, and what results you can expect.
WHO ARE CANDIDATES FOR A FACE LIFT?
The best candidates for a facelift are men and women whose facial and neck skin has begun to sag, but who still have elasticity and strong, well-defined bones. Most patients are between 40 and 60 years old; a facelift can also be performed successfully on people in their 70s and 80s. A facelift will make you look younger, fresher, and can boost your self-esteem.
TO PLAN YOUR INTERVENTION
A facelift is a highly individualized procedure. During your first visit, we will evaluate your face, including your skin and facial bones. We must begin by analyzing any medical conditions that may cause problems during the procedure, such as uncontrolled hypertension, circulatory problems, or a tendency to form hypertrophic scars. Be sure to mention if you smoke or take any medications; poor skin healing is always more likely in smokers. We will explain the technique and type of anesthesia used, the location of your surgery, the risks, and the costs involved.
CONGENITAL MALFORMATIONS
Congenital anomalies can be structural or functional. Structural congenital anomalies are those that involve morphological alterations. That is, they affect some tissue, organ, or group of organs in the body. Some examples are hydrocephalus, spina bifida, cleft lip and/or palate, and congenital heart disease. Structural congenital anomalies also include major and minor anomalies. Major anomalies imply significant health damage and, in turn, explain most of the deaths, morbidity, and disability related to congenital anomalies. They have significant medical, social, or aesthetic consequences for those affected and generally require medical and/or surgical treatment and rehabilitation. Minor anomalies, which are common in the population, generally do not imply any major health problems, nor do they have social or cosmetic consequences. Examples of minor congenital anomalies include: short neck, small angiomas, a single artery in the umbilical cord, among many others. However, in many cases, the presence of one or more minor (visible) anomalies can be associated with one or more major (and possibly hidden) anomalies. Patients with two minor anomalies have a 10% chance of having a major anomaly. If a person has three or more minor anomalies, this chance increases to 25%. Therefore, the presence of two or more minor anomalies should lead to the exclusion of a major anomaly that could imply a more serious health problem through further testing. Functional congenital anomalies are those that disrupt biological processes without causing a macroscopic change in shape; they involve metabolic, hematological, and immune system disorders, among others. Some examples are: congenital hypothyroidism, intellectual disability, decreased muscle tone, blindness, deafness, and neonatal-onset seizures.

ADVANCED BOTOX
Botulinum toxin, better known as Botox (the brand name of the first drug of its kind to be marketed), is actually a toxin that produces a very mild and controlled muscle paralysis used in aesthetic medicine to treat expression lines. Over time, stress, the sun, environmental pollutants, and other factors such as genetics accentuate facial wrinkles, and aging skin begins to become noticeable. Wrinkles can be static, which do not change with physical action and remain constant, or dynamic, which occur when the muscle contracts, along with the accompanying skin. Both types of wrinkles develop gradually and inevitably; therefore, botulinum toxin offers a simple, effective, minimally invasive, and risk-free treatment when performed by properly trained professionals. In these cases, the toxin produces a micro-relaxation of the muscle, which also causes the skin to relax, and during the time the muscle is relaxed, expression lines disappear. For a proper aesthetic effect, it is important to reduce the muscle's strength and not paralyze it, so that gestures appear natural and avoid creating a mask-like effect, which is not visually pleasing. Frequently Asked Questions When is the first Botox application recommended? It is recommended to use it at the appearance of the first wrinkles, not once they are advanced. Treated patients tend to delay the appearance of new expression lines much longer than those who have never had this substance applied. Where is it recommended to apply it? The treatment is ideal for wrinkles in the upper part of the face, i.e., the forehead, between the eyebrows, and crow's feet. It can also be used for wrinkles in the nose and neck muscles. Does it work to control sweating? If this toxin is also used to control excessive underarm sweating, it is a highly efficient and low-cost treatment.
TENSOR THREADS
It is a new redensifying technique with a lifting effect based on the implantation of multiple mini-tensioning threads in the skin. These promote natural collagen production and stimulate rejuvenation of the skin on the face and body.
Like a formwork, the application of the mini threads to the facial skin creates a subdermal support network that provides the necessary tension to achieve the lifting effect.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
The presence of the mini threads induces a fibrotic reaction in the tissues, stimulating the formation of collagen and elastin for a period of 6 to 8 months, which supports the skin.
Furthermore, the simple mechanical effect of the thread prevents the skin from shifting in the direction of wrinkles, thus preventing their formation.
The result is redensified, firmer, brighter, and rejuvenated skin.
The effect is immediately noticeable, reaching maximum tension after 2 or 3 months, and the tightening effect can be maintained for more than a year.
It allows for touch-ups and new applications at any time, without interfering with previous treatments, and is compatible with other regenerative therapies (peeling, mesotherapy, fillers, etc.).

HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic acid was discovered in 1934, although its use in cosmetics, which made it popular, did not begin until the mid-1990s. The application of hyaluronic acid in beauty and aesthetic treatments is due to its main property: to increase the volume and hydration of the skin, making it appear much smoother and more radiant.
Wrinkles and sagging skin associated with aging are largely determined by the loss of hydration, the reduction of hyaluronic acid present in our skin, and the decreased ability of our body to replenish it.
In aesthetic medicine, this substance is injected according to each patient's needs to correct the signs of aging. The most common areas where it is applied are:
the contour and corners of the lips;
lip and facial volume (cheekbones);
lip or perioral wrinkles (around the mouth).
Nasolabial folds (expression lines that run from both sides of the nose toward the mouth).
External periocular wrinkles (crow's feet)

PLATELET-RICH PLASMA
Currently, new techniques are available that allow us to access health and aesthetic alternatives. Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is gaining popularity in aesthetic medicine as an anti-aging treatment, helping to detoxify, drain, nourish, revitalize, maintain, and balance skin cells.
Biostimulation with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an autologous procedure, meaning it is painlessly performed with blood drawn from the patient. Its objective is to reverse the common signs of skin aging on the face, neck, and hands.
Platelet-rich plasma treatment involves the intradermal application of growth factors contained in platelets. These platelets are obtained by centrifuging a sample of the patient's own blood.
